Lisa Cabral owns and operates a Farmers Insurance and Financial Services company which she founded in Houston Heights in 2004. Through her current business and her earlier positions in the banking industry, she has made many important connections to other area businesses. From 2001 to 2005, Lisa was board secretary for the Northside Management District. She has also been active in a host of charitable and political causes, particularly those benefiting the Hispanic community.

A graduate of the University of Houston Downtown, Lisa is completely bilingual. Her family came to Houston when she was a child, and she still resides in the same Cottage Grove neighborhood. Like other HAM board members, she is committed to furthering projects which will educate and engage Houstonians.
