Houston Arts and Media Fundraiser with Texas Johnny Boy & Milton Hopkins

Houston, TX - March 20, 2007 - Houston Arts and Media will be hosting its spring fundraising event on Thursday, April 26 from 6- 9pm at the Saint Arnold Brewing Company. Musical guests are Houston's own blues legends Texas Johnny Boy & Milton Hopkins. There will also be a silent auction and an ongoing multi-media presentation showcasing HAM's Neighbor to Neighbor Oral History project. UH architecture professor, Donna Kacmar, will also be showcasing some of the work her students did on the project "Accommodation in Houston: Beer, Burgers and Barbacoa".

The silent auction will feature such items as diverse as hotel stays, wine packages, polka lessons, autographed sports memorabilia, fine dining gift certificates, and handmade chocolate, with special attention due to a private tour of John O'Quinn's Classic Car Collection, one of the best in the nation.
